I am so happy to find this blog. I am also retired and have taken up refinishing with a passion. And i too, am facing the dilemna of how to sell the finished product. I currenly use a consignment shop. I have explored Etsy and also craigslist and kijijii but so far they dont seem to get the results. I have started with MMS just this weekend. A change from staining . Quite a learning experience. Hope we can share some ides in the future.

I have english yellow and do tend to find it very bright. I like it but for outdoor furniture or something for the lounge room. I like what you’ve done with it here by mixing it with old white. I might have to give it a try.
